Description
Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division is hosting an Industry Forum on May 21, 2002. The Forum will be held at the Holiday Inn on the Bay, San Diego, CA. The intent of the forum is to provide an opportunity to discuss a new Regional Maintenance Management Contract (MMC), which is currently under development. The contract is planned to be an 8(a), Mentor Prot?g? set-aside. The MMC contractor will be required to maintain the integrity of existing small business programs in service areas, and/or be proactive in obtaining new 8(a), SDB, NISH, etc subcontractors. The contractor is required to be ISO 9000 compliant. The MMC will cover the full footprint of the Southwest Division, the West Coast Region, twelve states, with a possible split award of North and South. This contract will be used to provide various services including, Grounds Maintenance Services (NAICS 561730), Custodial Services (NAICS 561720), Refuse Services (NAICS 562111) and Preventive Maintenance Services (NAICS 235110). The contract is a performance-based specification. The performance period is a base year with four option periods, with possibility of inclusion of Award Option Term incentives of up to five years. A Forum Agenda and a draft MMC package will be electronically transmitted by email to interested attendees NLT April 30, 2002.
