- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is (Request for Quotation) RFQ 0401-02-0007. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in and effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. This procurement falls with the definition of North America Industry classification code 422910. The small business size standard is 100 employees. This request for quote is for 10,000 pounds of pre-mixed seed according to below mixture. Seed to be in 50 lb bags and labeled. Delivered to the Sanpete District warehouse in Ephraim, Utah. Certified seed, blue tag required on species as indicated (*). Contact Ed Schoppe at 435-636-3305 prior to delivery. SPECIES POUNDS IN MIX/ACRE *Mountain brome (Bromas carinatus)- 2 *Piute orchard grass (Dactylis glomerata)- 1 *Slender wheatgrass (Agropyron trachycaulum)- 2 Timothy Climax (Phleum pratense)-1 *Ladak alfalfa (Medicago sativa)-2 Cicer milkvetch (Astragalus cicer)-2 *Western wheatgrass (Agropyron smithii)-2 Intermediate wheatgrass (Agropyron intermedium)-2 Yellow sweetclover (Melilotus officinalis)-2 Crownvetch (Coronilla varia)-1/4 Showy goldeneye (Viguiera multiflora)-1/4 Mountain sagebrush (Artemisia tridentate)-1/4 TOTAL 16 3/4 lbs/Acre (*) Certified blue tag seed required on species. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with offer.
