Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to install an exhaust fan, ducting, and insulation in the ceiling of Building 30, Guest House, mechanical room, USCG, ISC Kodiak, Alaska in accordance with Statement of Work, drawings, contract clauses, and wage determinations. Work falls in the Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical areas. Work includes installation of duct and air movement accessories; installation of electrical power and control circuits; installation of high temperature ceiling insulation; and cutting concrete wall opens for the new exhaust fan. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None . Performance Period is 45 - 60 days. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to MSDS's, references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: National Electric Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, SMACNA HVAC Duct Construction Standards, ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY May 9, 2002. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska . Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed contract will be awarded under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately May 9, 2002. Written quotes will be due on / about June 10, 2002.
