Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to furnish and install Brass identification tags / labels on 152 each Underground Storage Tanks and Aboveground Storage Tanks located throughout USCG, ISC Kodiak, Alaska commands and tenant units in accordance with Statement of Work, drawings, contract clauses, and wage determinations. Tanks contain Diesel Fuel and Gasoline. Requirements include furnishing Brass tags, impermeable paint, lockable fuel tank fill caps, reflective tape for piping, wire, polyethylene primer and paint. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None Performance Period is 45 - 60 days. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to MSDS's, references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY May 9, 2002. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska Estimated price is UNDER $25,000. The proposed contract will be awarded under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately May 9, 2002. Written quotes will be due on / about June 10, 2002.
