Description
NA Statement of Work Training CD Production and Replication 1. General Information 1.1 Background----The Office of the Director, Acquisition Initiatives, is responsible for the continuous learning policy for the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L) Workforce. The goal of this policy is to provide timely, accurate, consistent, a nd relevant information to the dynamic environment where the workforce exists. The change in this environment is continuous. To keep pace, the AT&L Workforce must continually strive to improve their professional knowledge. Producing and replicating trai ning CDs to deliver to the workforce are a method of achieving this. 1.2 Scope---The contractor will provide all products and services required for the production and replication of multimedia, multi-panel training CDs. The training CDs will vary in length from 10 to 60 minutes, depending on the subject and amount of mater ial to be presented. 1.3 Approach?The Government will provide the materials (i.e., pre-taped videos, scripts, graphics, etc.) and Subject Matter Experts to review each CD for completeness, usability, and accuracy. 2. Work Requirements 2.1 The contractor shall produce a master multimedia, multi-panel training CD, length to vary from 10 to 60 minutes, to meet current and evolving training requirements for the AT&L Workforce. The technology used for production of the CD will support all t ypes of multimedia events. 2.2 The contractor will update these multimedia CDs, as directed by the Government. 2.3 Each CD title will be determined by Government at task inception. 2.4 Pre-Produced Video-On occasion, we may require contractor to produce video elements for the CD. The Program Manager will work with the contractor to identify interview subjects, as required. 2.5 Using the information and materials provided by the Government (including pre-taped videos, scripts, graphics, etc) the contractor will produce an interim multimedia, multi-panel training CD within 14-30 days of submission of subject information and materials. 2.6 After review by Government SMEs and requests for changes, if required, the contractor will produce the final master multimedia training CD within 14-30 days after submission of changes. 3.1 Deliverables Interim multimedia training CD Pre-produced videos, if requested Final master multimedia, multi-panel training CD in plastic jewel case Up to 1,000 copies of the final master multimedia, multi-panel training CDs in plastic jewel cases Period of Performance The contract will be for a period of one year from the date of award. Place of Performance The place of performance is the contractor facility and other specified locations in the local commuting area. Travel Travel outside the local area may be required. Travel must be acquired in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations. All interested contractors should respond thru email no later than May 8, 2002 (close of business).
