Description

NA The Defense Contracting Command - Washington intends to award on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source) to Corporate Executive Board, 2000 Pennsylvania Ave N.W. Washington, D.C. 20006, to renew CIOC Membership. This is a voting membership that allows the DoD DCIO to vote on Council recommendations and initiatives that impact all member organizations. Membership specifically provides DoD the opportunity to: Influence research topics and efforts so that they specifically benefit the Department. Exchange ideas and advances in effective information management while ensuring the Council understands government specific concerns such as security, issues inherent in very large organizations, workforce refresh and renewal, business pro cess reengineering and capital planning and control. Contact peers in the community to pool intellectual resources in solving problems such as homeland defense, risk and contingency planning and catastrophe management. Learn lessons and best practices fr om corporations that have developed and implemented large systems, operations and processes, whether management or technical, that could be useful to the Department. Period of performance is 1 year. This announcement is for information only. See Note 22
