Description

NA Provide all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work in connection with moisture-proofing and prevention of water infiltration into 6 barracks buildings at Fort Drum, New York. Project will include removing and pro viding matching sections of cracked split face CMU and clay face brick; constructing new expansion joints, providing backer rod and flexible sealant; repointing exterior masonry veneer as shown on drawings; weather sealing windows and roof flashings; remov ing cracked mortar joints and replace with mortar joint or flexible sealant around pre-cast concrete bands, lintels, and accent pieces; power wash areas with mineral stains and organic growth; repair selected existing full-height compressed expansion joint s; and provide water repellent for all CMU and selected areas of brick veneer in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. This will be a ?Firm Fixed Price Construc tion? contract. This will be an unrestricted procurement issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1006(b)(1), Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The North Atlantic Industrial Code (NAIC) is 235410. This procurement is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about May 8, 2002. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum?s Web Page. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder?s Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected. The bids must be supplied in h ard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic bids will be accepted.
