Description

The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to procure commercial software licenses/upgrades on a sole source basis from Evans & Sutherland. The procurement includes phone support and software upgrades for the RapidScene software for a twelve month period, 01 April 02 to 31 March 03. Authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1. Firms that recognize they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer by close of business, 01 May 2002. Only written responses will be considered. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is based on information provided and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
