- NOTE: ALL REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE 'REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION' SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING. ISSUE DATE: o/a MARCH 29, 2002. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to install a new vapor barrier / insulation system on the ceiling of the Port Services section of Building 614, Cutterman's Club, USCG, Integrated Support Command Kodiak, Kodiak, ALASKA. Contractor will be responsible for providing proper ventilation during operations and to keep dust to a minimum. Work includes removal / reinstallation of electrical, lighting, mechanical supports, etc. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None . Performance Period is 30 - 45 days. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to laboratory data, MSDS's, references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY March 29, 2002. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed contract will be awarded under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately March 29, 2002. Written quotes will be due on / about April 30, 2002.
