- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office, Information Technology Division (AQSS32), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a small business set-aside (100%) for Multiple Virtual Systems (MVS) System Application Support at the Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) Detachment Warner-Robins AFB GA. This is a part-time position consisting of 3 days per week. This position requires a TOP SECRET clearance on day of performance, 1 May 02. No interim clearance is acceptable. The activities shall include the support of centrally managed executive software suites, installation, testing, customizing, integrating and impelmenting new releases and upgrading versions of software products utilized for mainframe, midtier and client server applications. The domains consist of Amdahl 5995 Central Processing Unit, EMC (@) Disk Subsystems, IBM CPU, IBM Ethernet Controller, IBM Enterprise Controller, IBM Front End Processor, Storage Tek Tape/Cartridge Library and Storage Tek ICEBERG Disk Subsystem. To enhance the likelihood of success, contractor shall have knowledge, skills and abilities associated with IBM, MVS, and CMOS in database administration and certification in DBA Technical Support MVS mainframe expertise in enterprise database administration. The place of performance is DECC Detachment Warner Robins, 205 Perry Street, Robins AFB GA 31098-1607. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Priced contract not-to-exceed 18 months.
