Description
Synopsis is for one line item of spares for Computer, Radar Data in support of the C-130 aircraft. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. Government's required delivery schedule is 30 September 2002. NSN: 5841-01-449-9255LG; Part number:965-0636-003-B02-B02; Quantity 50 each. Function: to provide the flight warning modes to the cockpit crew. Dimension 2.50 X 7.88 X 14.52L; Weight is 6lbs. TO: Honeywell Industries, Redmond WA; cage code 97896. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The approximate issue date will be 24 May 2002 with a response of 24 June 2002. Authority: 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Justification: supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Specification, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described above are not available and can't be furnished by the government. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tot the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals in the source selection process.
