Description
NA Upgrade Composite Readiness Support Facility at the 174th Fighter Wing NY Air National Guard Base, 600 E. Molloy Road, Syracuse, NY 13221. The work contained within this project consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, supervision, mater ial, temporary facilities and means required to complete all work under this project as per specifications and drawings provided by the Government. The project is inclusive of the following work at exisitng Building(s) 614 and 612 at the Air Base: Demolit ion and renovation of two existing facilities to include architectural/structural, HVAC and electrical. The scope of the project is approximately 47,500 SF, composed of 27,800 SF of warehouse area, 4,700 SF of administrative area, and 2,900 SF of VI (Visua l Information, similiar to a multimedia lab). The buildings are presently occupied and are structurally sound. The facilities are 1950's vintage and are comprised of CMU walls and concrete floors, roofs are in good condition. The facilities require major interior work, to include upgrade of all utilities and finishes. The construction schedule and all elements of this project will be closely coordinated with the Base Civil Engineer. The dollar magnitude of this solicitation is between $1,000,000 and $5, 000,000. The period of performance for this project is 182 calendar days after acknowledgement of Notice to Proceed. IFB No. DAHA30-02-B-0002 will be issued on or around 9 May 2002, with a bid opening date of on or around 13 June 2002 at 1:30 local time. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 21 May 2002 at the job site. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. The North American Industrial Code applicable to this project is 233320, with a small business size standard of $27,500,000. This solic tation is a total, Competitive HUBZone set-aside, restricted to HUBZone Small Business concerns as per FAR 19.1305. Interested parties may request a copy of the solicitation packet through the following means: Submit a written request to: USPFO-NY, ATTN : MNPF-PC, 330 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, NY 12110-2224. This request must be made on company letterhead to include the firms telephone and fax number, point of contact, and e-mail address. All requests for plans and specifications must be accompanied b y a non-refundable, certified check, bank draft, or money order in the amount of $50.00 made payable to the U.S. Treasury. Uncertified company checks will not be accepted and will be returned without action. Funding is not currently available for this ac quisition. Contract Award will not be made until appropriated funding is made available for which payment for contract purposes may be made.
