Description: NA The work consists of dredging approximately 200,000 cubic yards, comprised of maintenance material, to required depths of 14 to 17 feet below Mean Low Tide and 2 feet of allowable over depth for the navigation channel; and required depth of 30 feet and 2 f eet allowable over depth for the Impoundment Basin. Material will be deposited in a designated beach Placement Area. There will be no levee work. The cost range for this project is from $1 - $5 million. Subcontracting goals for the Galveston District a re: 61.4% - Small Business; 9.1% - Small Disadvantaged Business; 5.0% - Woman-Owned; 2.5% - Hubzone Small Business; 3.0% - Veteran-Owned Small Business and 3.0% - Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The estimated cost range is between $1 milli on and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 234990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million and will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. The plans and specifications have been place on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge on the issue date. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to th is solicitation. It is therefore the contractor?s responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
