Description
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, safety and management necessary to provide and secure minor maintenance construction, repair and alteration work at predetermined wage, material, and equipment costs, to fences and portions thereof belonging to the U.S. Government as designated by the Contracting Officer, at two (2) sites, Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA and ROICC Peninsula in Yorktown, VA and their satellite locations and within a 500-mile radius of those sites. One Hubzone set aside Indefinite Quantity work type contract will be awarded for a period of 12 months. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for two (2) additional periods of 12 months. The total contract term, including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 36 months. The applicable NAICS Code is 23599 and the standard size is $11.5 million. This solicitation is a 100% Hubzone set aside. This IFB (Invitation for Bid) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-SOL) Website on or about 06 May 2002. Estimated bid opening shall be at least 30 days after the IFB is posted to the E-sol website. Once Posted, the solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view .pdf files can be downloaded from the Adobe website. The official access to the solicitation is through the internet. The address is: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the website. Only registered contractors will be notified by email when amendments to the solicitation are issued.
