Description
Solicitation N47408-02-T-0323 is for Plural Component Application equipment which provides a means of combining the A and B components of a two component coating, mixing them at a specified ratio and spraying them through a hand-held spray gun. The unit is to be pneumatically driven with a Metering Pump, Static Mixer, Remote Mixing Station, Heaters, Standard Feed System, Optional 55 Gallon Feed Stations, Solvent Flush System, Metering Ration Check Station, Automatic Shutdown, Emergency Shutoff, Overpressure Safety Shutoff, Cycle Counter and Air Control Valve Reset. The equipment must be in accordance with the specifications defined in the solicitation and the offeror must provide spare parts, installation and training at each delivery site. Units are to be shipped to Silverdale, WA and Kings Bay, GA. This Commercial Item procurement will be awarded based on (1) Technical acceptability and (2) Price. Offerors must submit technical information and/or descriptive data with their quotation for a determination of technical acceptability. The RFQ may only be obtained by downloading a copy from the NAVFAC website using www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The RFQ will be available on this website beginning April 26, 2000 and will close on May 17, 2002. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 333912 and the small business size standard is 500 employees or less. Quotes are due NLT 1600 on May 15, 2002.
