- Description
- This requirement is for 750 kW Ship Service/Emergency Diesel Generator (SS/EDG) Sets. The estimated quantity is six (6) Ship Sets over a five-year period. A Ship Set equals two 750 kW Ship Service/Emergency Diesel Generator (SS/EDG) Sets with local operating panels. Quantities are estimated. This solicitation will result in a Requirements Contract for LPD-4 Class Ships with a five year ordering period. First Article, Engineering Services, Technical Data, Tools, Test Equipment, and Spare Parts in support of the Ship Sets will also be procured. This procurement shall replace existing 300 kW Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG) with 750 kW Ship Service/Emergency Diesel generators (SS/EDG). The SS/EDGs shall have an operating panel mounted on the generator set that will provide for the local control and monitoring of the SS/EDG set. This procurement is unrestricted. Solicitat ion will issue on or about 31 May 2002 and close on or about 01 July 2002. The solicitation package will be available at the following web site: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Solicitation Packages will only be available electronically ? no hard copies will be sent. Solicitation Requests will not be accepted. Interested parties must access the solicitation, and any amendments thereto, at the above site when the documents are issued (solicitation will issue on or about 31 May 2002).
