- Description
- The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis from United Technologies/Chemical Systems Division (UT/CSD), P.O. Box 49028, San Jose, California 95161-9028, the preparation and conducting of a restrained firing test using the NSWCDD Gas Management System Simulator (GMSS). UT/CSD is the manufacturer of the motor to be used in this testing. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541380 with a size standard of $5.0 million. The contract shall be a firm fixed price purchase order with a four month period of performance. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used. A written solicitation will not be issued. All interested parties may submit responses by identifying their interest and capabilities to Contracting Officer, Attn: XDS116/Bldg 183/Room 102, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, Virgini a 22448-5100 or by fax at (540)653-7088. Closing date is 08 May 2002 with an anticipated award date of 10 May 2002. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area, therefore the synopsis will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply as well as FEDBIZOPPS. DoD will no longer award contracts to Contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base.
