Description
This modification to the Presolicitation Synopsis is being issued as follow-up information to the cover letter of the Draft RFP released on 4/18/02. 1. An electronic technical library has been made available and can be accessed at the following address: http://jsc-web-pub.jsc.nasa.gov/bd01/BIO/default.asp A username and password is needed to access the electronic library. Please e-mail the Contracting Officer, Steve Janney, at the address shown below requesting access to the website. Please include in your request the following information: a. Your name b. Company c. joint venture or team you are with d. Office Phone Number The technical library is currently under construction and is being updated daily with additional reference documents applicable to this procurement. Offerors will be responsible for checking the website for any updates to the technical library. 2. A Presolicitation Conference is planned and will be presented in separate parts, which are as follows: PART 1: DATE 5/2/02 TIME 9:00 AM to NOON LOCATION Lunar Planetary Institute, Lecture Hall SUBJECT Overview of Contract Structure and Technical Requirements PART 2: DATE 5/3/02 TIME 9:00 AM to NOON LOCATION NASA JSC, Building 111 Conf. Room SUBJECT Overview of Cost Instructions Because of limited seating and parking, each team or joint venture planning to submit a proposal will be limited to 12 representatives for the first day (5/2/02) and 6 representatives on the second day (5/3/02). It is requested that attendees car-pool if possible. Please submit your list of attendees via e-mail to Steve Janney by COB 4/29/02. 3. A laboratory observation period for available onsite laboratories (see Attachment J-13 in the Draft RFP) is scheduled onsite at JSC from May 6th through May 9th. Each day will consist of an observation period of different laboratories, such that there will be only one observation period for each laboratory for the entire scheduled time of May 6th through May 9th. An agenda will be released shortly that will give specific information on laboratory observations periods. Each team or joint venture planning to submit a proposal will be allowed up to 9 representatives each day to attend the laboratory observation period. A team or joint venture may submit a different list of attendees for each day if they wish, but the list shall not exceed 9 people per day. Please submit your list of attendees via e-mail to Steve Janney before the first day of the Presolicitation Conference held on 5/2/02. The list of attendees should include the following information for each individual: a. Name b. Company c. Phone number and e-mail address d. Indicate if the individual is a US citizen (if no, please submit information quickly to allow for additional time for badging purposes)
