- Sources Sought: The USCG ELC intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the 175? WLM Dynamic Positioning System Digital Processor Upgrade in accordance with the Statement of Work to Natronix Inc. Offshore Technology Group, 12131 Community Rd, Poway, CA 92064. (1) Digital Processor Assembly, P/N 24005802TL-WLM, including software and technical documentation, 15 each. (2) Troubleshooting and Testing Portal to Portal onboard, plus expense for 1 technician. (1 each equals 1 day) 6 each. The original DPS was installed onboard the 175? WLM cutters between 1995 and 2000. The DPS is an integral part of the cutters navigation and positioning system, which allows the cutters to be minimally staffed by automating several bridge functions. To maintain support the digital processor must be upgraded, and NATRONIX Inc, the OEM is the only company that can accomplish this task. The Coast Guard doe not own the rights to modify. Only Natronix has the proprietary information to upgrade the existing system. Therefore, it is the Government?s intent to negotiate directly with Natronix Inc. However, other organizations having the expertise and required capabilities are invited to submit complete information discussing their capabilities regarding this system upgrade with fifteen (15) days of this announcement. No cost or pricing data is required. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The NAICS is 334513 and the size standard 500 employees. The Government does not intend to pay for this information solicited. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities to meet the requirements. Number Note 12 and 22.
