- The FHWA intends to hold a pre-solicitation conference for planned request for proposal (RFP) DTFH61-02-R-00041, ?Assessment, Calibration, and Performance Evaluations for the LTPP Weigh-In-Motion Sites.? This pre-solicitation conference is scheduled from 1:00 ? 2:30 PM on Tuesday, May 14th, 2002 in Salon 7/8 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida. This conference is being held concurrent with the North American Traffic Monitoring Exhibition and Conference (NATMEC); however, participants in this pre-solicitation conference need not be registered for the NATMEC conference. This session will be open to all interested parties and will cover technical and contractual issues associated with the subject RFP. Parties interested in attending the pre-solicitation conference are asked to respond electronically to amy.kruger@fhwa.dot.gov. In this response, interested parties should indicate whether they are registered participants in NATMEC 2002 or will be attending this session only. Attendance at this pre-solicitation conference is not a requirement to be eligible to submit a proposal in response to the planned RFP. All presentation materials utilized at this pre-solicitation conference will be posted on the fedbizops website.
