Description

This is a combined synopsis /solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ No.180321). The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 5043 and the NAICS Code is 421410. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to issue a purchase order for the following equipment; Qty. 1 Sony DVW 709WSPAC2 Digital Batacam Camcorder IT w/BKWL601 mounting plate, Qty. 1 Sony BSC1Pack, set up cards (4 to a set) for Betacam Camcorder, Qty. 1 Sony BCL120 Battery Charger, Qty. 3 Sony BPL90A Lithium Battery, and Qty. 1 Sony AC550, AC Adapter stand alone. The Camcorder is only sold through Sony Authorized Dealers. Offerors shall supply a letter showing they are authorized resellers for the Sony Equipment. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.232-33 Electronic Funds Transfer. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirement shall submit written quotations by mail or fax 301/827-7039.
