- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F44600-02-T-0022 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. (iv) The NAICS code is 532120 with a size standard, averaged over a one-year period of $18,500.000. (v) Langley AFB plans to procure a Double Wide Trailer rental for three (3) years. See attached Statement of Work (SOW) for complete details. (vi) The following requirements are applicable: CLIN #0001 Trailer lease for the period of 17 June 2002 through 16 June 2004 (state whether quote is for new or used trailer, or do two separate quotes if bidding on a new and a used trailer); Sub Clin #0001AA for the Base Year effective 17 June 02 through 16 June 03, monthly rate X 12 months = __; with a Sub CLIN 0001AB effective 17 June 03 through 16 June 04 monthly rate X 12 months = __, CLIN #0002 Delivery/set-up Fee; CLIN #0003 Fire Alarm System; CLIN #1001 Option Year One effective 17 June 04 through 16June 05, monthly rate X 12 months = ___; CLIN #1002 Removal Fee, quote removal fee at end of three year lease period. (vii) Delivery: Government?s desired delivery and set up date ready for occupancy is 17 June 02. Contractor offers a delivery and set up date ready for occupancy on _______________. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises the option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 3 years 6 months, this clause is hereby incorporated in full text.
