Description

The Project consist of the rehabilitation of Ponds 4-14 exterior dikes, Dike 1D, and rehabilitation of Ponds 10, 11, and 12. Work includes approximately 3,500 feet of re-graveling and embankment restoration, excavation of approximately 13,000 cubic yards of pond bottom material, and re-grading of approximately 285,000 square feet of pond bottom. Work also includes silt fencing, filter fabric, leveling of gravel, removal and trucking of excess spoil material, and seeding. Project location is at the USFW Genoa National Fish Hatchery, S5689 State Road 35, Genoa, WI 54632. The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement is set-aside for competition restricted to Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small business concerns. Information on the HUBZone Program can be obtained from the Small Business Administration at www.sba.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990 with a size standard of $28.5M. The solicitation package will be available free of charge approximately May 13, 2002, with bid opening scheduled for June 12, 2002.
