- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a firm-fixed price Order under NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number N00019-00-G-0280 for the Procurement of JASDF Indentified Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) Spares and Associated Support for the Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Group 0 to Hawkeye 2000 E-2C Export Configuration Upgrade Program. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this Order on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714. NGSC is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C aircraft and weapon system and as such, is the only firm with knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide the required supplies and services in a timely manner for the purposes of meeting the fleet?s operational needs.
