- Description
- The government intends to procure the following items under Full and Open Competitive procedures. 100 each, Hose assembly, 2 1/2 " x 50' sewage lay flat discharge hose. The hose shall be stenciled "Sewage" in 3 places. The hose shall be coupled with CXE brass camlock ends with stainless steel ears, pins and bands. The hose shall have 19/64-wall thickness and shall be 4 ply. 100 each, Hose assembly, 2 1/2 " x 50' oily waste yellow jacket lay flat hose. The hose shall be stenciled "Oily Waste" on each end and in the middle, using 2" black lettering. The hose shall be coupled with part CXE brass camlock fittings with stainless steel ears, pins and bands. The hose shall have 4 ply wall thickness. 100 each, Hose assembly, 4" x 50' sewage lay flat heavy hose. The hose shall have 19/64-wall thickness and shall be 4 ply. The discharge hose shall have brass male X female fittings with stainless steel ears and pins. Each sewage hose shall be stenciled "Sewage" on each end and in the middle, using 3" letters. 300 each, Hose assembly 2" x 25' Steam hose. The hose shall have a stainless steel liner and shall be fully attached to female x female boss connections. The hose shall be certified to meet or equal MIL-SPEC MIL-H-2910A. The hose shall be 150 pounds hydrostatically tested and certified. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract and the requirement will utilize procedures under Subpart FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Delivery is FOB destination to Norfolk, VA 23511. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing: www.neco.navy.mil. The issue date of the RFQ will be announced in the CBD. The Government directs that you submit your quote via fax to Ms. Richardson at 757 443-1424. After receipt of the initial proposals and establishment of the competitive range, the Contracting Officer intends to conduct a competitive, anonymous, on-line reverse auction as described in the RFQ. Submission of a quote, in response to the RFQ, will be considered as consent that the offeror will participate in the auction and that the offeror's price can be revealed during the reverse auction. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
