Description
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Corpedia Education, of Phoenix, AZ for the completion of the following project: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has requested that the ATF Federal Firearms Regulation Reference Guide (FFRRG) be available on the ATF Internet sight as an interactive training tool to Federal Firearm Licensees. This on line training will provide FFL?s the assistance they need in order to comply with the laws governing the manufacture, importation and distribution of firearms. The training guide will consist of 3 sections, a resource center which will restate sections of the FFRRG in plain English as well as provide the exact regulation to the viewer, a help section which will post frequently asked questions, points of contact and other information deemed necessary and lastly a series of story-based, animated information scenarios that will explain common situations and important day-to-day FFL operations. This electronic interactive presentation was originally designed and developed for the Remington Arms Company, Inc. by Corpedia Education in conjunction with ATF subject matter experts. Corpedia Inc. has completed over 30% of the development work to include product conception and instructional design graphics; character and scene design animation; and construction and assembly of the ?Online Learning Center.? Re-competing this entire requirement will result in serious time delays and unnecessary additional expenditures of Government funds. Furthermore, Corpedia has extensive knowledge and experience in the application of firearms regulations to implement and finish this online product. There is no solicitation available for this project.
