Description
Provide materials and services necessary for the Rehabilitation of Building 8 Utility Infrastructure, U. S. Coast Guard Support Center, Boston, MA. The scope of the project consists of boiler replacement, wet pipe sprinkler modifications, electrical modifications and incidental related work. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 32-L6001 and Drawing No. 32-L6001 (Sheets 1 - 28). All work shall be completed within 365 calendar days after Award. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR THE HISTORICALLY UNDERUTILIZED BUSINESS ZONE (HUBZONE) SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. (Status as a qualified HUBZone small business concern is determined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and SBA will issue a certification to that affect in accordance with 13 CFR part 126). Offers that are not from qualified HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered and shall be rejected. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY BY INTERNET AT THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/fdcclant/contracts.html. Any prospective bidder interested in bidding on this solicitation must REGISTER at this web site and download plans and specifications in order to be placed on the plan holder list. If not registered, the United States Government is not responsible for providing you with notifications of any changes to this solicitation. The solicitation will be available on the web site on 16 May 2002. The date for bid opening for Solicitation No. DTCG47-02-B-3EFK13 is 18 June 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in Norfolk, VA. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation is unrestricted IAW the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 235110 and the small business size standard is $12 Million.
