Description

NA TACOM Rock Island is preparing to issue a solicitation for commercial Spare Parts Storage Cabinets. The transportable storage cabinets will fit within a designated space in an Army tactical cargo truck. This announcement is to provide offerors advance noti fication of our intentions and to provide offerors with a draft Description for Purchase, DFP404. The Description for Purchase will be posted to the TACOM-RI solicitation information page by close of business 26 April 2002 and will remain there until 15 Ma y 2002. Any comments or questions must be received no later than 15 MAY 2002. Description of the cabinets: NSN: 4940-01-476-2320. The cabinets shall be provided with drawers and shelves providing organized storage totaling at least 100 cubic feet for the set preferably more and in accordance with the requirements of the DFP404. The website address to view the draft Description for Purchase is: https://aais.ria.army.mil/SOLINFO/index.htm Once in the website click on the link Draft Solicitations/Specifications/Scopes of Work. After reviewing the Description for Purchase, intereste d offerors should notify the contract specialist to recieve a notification of the solicitation or if you have any questions. The estimated date for issuing the solicitation is 31 MAY 2002.
