Description
NA This is a Request for Quote for furnishing and installation of Audio/Visual equipment in four conference rooms at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers located at 111 N. Canal, Suite 600, Chicago, Illinois. 1. Facility Layout. Conference facility consists of one large room subdivable by movable partitions into four smaller rooms 623, 624, 625, 626 on drawing. All conduit, junction boxes, and electrical service are installed in allowance with drawing. 2. Functional Requirements. a. Each room will be able to function independently from the others. Ceiling mounted projector and speaker will accept input signals from the room's VCR or computer or from the conference facility's T.V. signal. Each room will have speaker volume contro l. b. Partitions may be opened to combine two or more rooms. Combined rooms will be able to have common A/V outputs controlled by any one of the original rooms. c. Rooms 623's A/V system will additionally accept inputs from video teleconference VTC equipment and an Elmo visual presenter - EV805. VTC remote location shown from projector, VTC local picture shown on television. d. Sound system will include a wired microphone and a wireless lavaliere type microphone for use when all partitions are opened. e. Facility will have a master control with a pro-programmed menu of choices that will allow an untrained operator to designate which rooms are working independently, which rooms are working in combination, and for putting room 623 in VTC mode.
