Description

The successful offeror shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, equipment and transportation to supply and install a marine refrigeration system consisting of condensing unit and three refrigerated spaces according to specifications in the solicitation package. The system will be part of the refrigeration laboratory of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and will be used for instructional purposes. The installation site may be viewed by potential offerors on May 15th, 2002, between 1:30 and 5:30 PM EST. Requests for the solicitation will be accepted in writing only. Requests may be faxed to (516) 773-5251, or mailed to U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Department of Procurement, ATTN: DTMA5R02419, Steamboat Road, Kings Point, NY 11024-1699. This procurement action is 100% Set-Aside for small business concerns. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receiveable for transportation related contracts.
