- Synopsis is for interim contractor support repair of the AN/ASN-167(V) Ground collision Avoidance System (GCAS) Computer. A firm fixed price requirements contract to Honeywell International Inc, located in Renton WA, Cage code 1W4T8 is contemplated for a basic and one option year. Four line items: Line item 0001 is 12 man months management/administrative planning; Line item 0002 Repair Best estimated quantity (BEQ) 30 to 50 Each; Line item 0003 Retok BEQ 75-100 Each; Line item 0004 Data. Government?s required delivery is 30 days on the repair. The approximate issue date will be 21 May 2002 with a response by 21 June 2002. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Authority: 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Justification: supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The government does not have the data to support a competitive data package. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals in the source selection process.
