Description

The purpose of this project is to renovate and reconfigure specific areas of the existing Community Activity Center (CAC) at Pope Air Force Base into a Rockers Sports Cafe and New York Pizza & Deli. In addition, the renovation will include a support kitchen, catering kitchen, lobby, offices, and a meeting room. The existing ballroom and toilets will require no work. The Rockers Sports Cafe will be located in the existing game room area. The sports cafe will include a raised bar, sunken dance floor, pool table area, and electronic game areas for an occupant capacity of approximately 225 people. The Rockers Sports Cafe will be used for overflow seating for the adjacent New York Pizza & Deli. The catering kitchen will be constructed in the area where the existing pizza parlor kitchen is located. The catering kitchen will support the ballroom and meeting room. The lobby configuration will remain unchanged and service all areas of the building. The lobby's interior materials and finishes will be upgraded. The existing office suite will require an upgrade to include a cashier's office and interior materials. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 6 Jun 02. All responsible sources may submit a proposal.
