- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition procedures in FAR 13 and the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcemen t constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAKF61-02-Q-0035 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is due by COB 8 May 02. The RFQ is a small business set-aside, NAICS code is 4213 90 Structural assemblies, prefabricated (except wood), and the small business size standard is 500. Clin 0001 2 ea Bunker (for Bunker Range 8). Specifications as follows:1) Size 10? x 10? x 8' ID height. 2) Precast design 3) FLOOR : 6 inch precast concr ete floor with channel frame embedded on exterior perimeter. Also included is a 4 inch floor drain. 4) WALLS: 6 inch precast concrete wall panels and bolted together with metal plates in the event bunker has to be moved to a future site, with smooth inter ior and gray finish. Exterior walls to have barn board texture with sand-tan color. (Colors in concrete are dye, not paint). Rear wall to have vent 12 inch x12inch for ventilation constructed of 12.5 gauge galv. steel. 5) ROOF: 12 inch thickness and is sl oped to 6inch on the sides, with 4inch overhang in back and sides and with a 12 inch overhang in front. Texture is smooth with forest green in color (color is dye not paint). 6) Entrance door: to be located on the backside right hand corner 36 inch x 84 i nch hollow metal 16 gauge to include frame, door sweep, dead bolt lock, barn door type handle. Color is forest green. 7) Electrical: an electrical box above the entrance door for future electrical wiring, also 2 inch pvc pipe opening in the floor for futu re interior lighting. 8) Window Openings: there will need to be 1 each 12 1/4inch x 36 1/4inch window openings evenly spaced on front wall. Bottom edge of window is up 62inch from floor. The interior part of the window opening will need to be reinforced w ith angle frame and have a lip of concrete of 2 inch so the bullet glass window can be installed from the outside and not be allowed to be pushed or forced into the inside of the bunker during or up to 250 LB blasts. Note: Window to be purchased and insta lled by Range Maint. workers. 9) Design Stresses : Floor: 125 LBS PER SQ FT; Roof: 220 LBS PER SQ FT; Wind Load: 120 MPH. 10) REINFORCEMENT: Grade 40 and placement shall be a minimum os 1/2inch bars at 6inch O.C.E.W. 11 1/2inch from interior. 11) Sealing: All walls are sealed for weather at floor, sides, and roof to prevent leaking. 12) Installation: Contractor will deliver and install bunkers. Range Maint. will be responsible for the site prep. 13) Warranty: 5 year weatherproof.
