- This is a market survey for written information only from American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) commercial and non-profit entities as defined under 25 U.S.C. 450 e7(b) of the Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and/or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged. There is no solicitation available at this time, nor is there any additional information to support this announcement. Responses shall not exceed 40 pages and standard company brochures are not desired. Based on the results of this survey, any resulting solicitation and/or potential contract award may be set-aside for AI/AN commercial and/or non-profit entities in accordance with the referenced statute. Information shall focus on the firm's capability to conduct Availability Analyses that will support implementation of the EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) rule affecting AI/AN communities. Availability Analyses are detailed reviews conducted to determine the number and types of firms available in specific industry categories. The results of the Availability Analyses will establish a basis for defining fair and reasonable representation of DBE firms in procurements funded through EPA assistance agreements.
