Description
NA The Defense Threat Reduction Agency is considering awarding Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts in support of the Technology Development Directorate. The work includes, but is not limited to, supporting the Nuclear Technology - Surviv ability & Infrastructure Program. Prospective contractors must be knowledgeable in the following Core Skill Areas: 1. Survivability Modeling and Simulation, and 2. Infrastructure Modeling and Simulation Further information will be disseminated from the w eb site found at http://tdic.dtra.mil. To gain access to the web site, you must register and receive a password. The program supports the directorate's missions in nuclear effects technology and related areas. It is the Government's intention to maintai n a competitive environment throughout the duration of this contract, therefore the Government anticipates award of two (2) contracts as a result of this solicitation, but reserves the right to award up to four (4) contracts. In addition, the Government r eserves the right to award at least one contract to a small business concern. The ordering period will be 36 months, with options to extend the ordering period for two additional 36-month periods. The contracts will allow for various pricing arrangements , including fixed price, cost plus fixed fee, cost plus award fee, fixed price level of effort, and will include the possibility of award term orders. The estimated release date for the draft RFP is 29 April 2002. The estimated release date for the formal RFP is 22 July 2002. The estimated award date for the contracts is approximately 17 January 2002. You may submit questions anonymously through the web site, or send them directly to the contract specialist listed below.
