Description: Coeur dAlene River Ranger District, Kootenai County, Idaho. This project consists of several distinct watershed restoration items. Work includes obliterating segments of existing roads by recontouring the original hillside, restoring stream channels at road crossings, installing a wet water ford, seeding all excavated areas, constructing waterbars, and upgrading certain culverts. Channel restoration will involve removing fill and drainage structures at stream crossing sites, installing gradient control structures, and returning these sites to their natural state. Approximate start work of July 15, 2002 with contract time of 60 calendar days. Price range between $25,000 and $100,000.
