- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure the following items in support of the AN/FPN-64(V) Loran-C Solid State Transmitter: (1) Megatron subassembly, Megapulse P/N 89-4172-101, quantity 6 each; (2) Bracket, support assembly, Megapulse P/N 84-3175-101, quantity 24 each; and (3) Transformer Assembly, Megapulse P/N 22-2852-101. It is the Government?s belief that only Megapulse can provide these items, therefore the Government intends to solicit ONLY Megapulse. The Government does NOT possess copies of the technical and/or engineering data to provide with the RFQ package. This information is proprietary to Megapulse. Delivery shall be no later than 10 weeks after the date of award and shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Request For Quotation (RFQ) Number DTCG40-02-Q-50091 shall be posted on FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov for download and shall be available on or about 18 April 2002. Hard copies of the solicitation package shall not be issued from this office. The due date for submission of quotations shall be no later than 25 April 2002. Quotations submitted via email shall NOT be accepted. Faxed quotations shall be permitted. See Numbered Notes 12 and 22. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.203-1 and TAM 1206.302. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. The following statement is for information purposes only: ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
