- Description
- Provide A/E services for engineering investigation, planning and design services for an "Integrated Building Management System" at the Dept of Veterans Affairs Domiciliary, White City, Oregon. Project involves design of a campus wide building access control system; room access devices; interior and exterior video surveillance systems; consolidation of existing intrusion and security alarm systems, site lighting, and certain other security initiatives. Services will include Phase I involving the preliminary investigation and concept design, to be complete 45 days after award. Phase II will involve preparation of contract drawings and specifications for construction due 90 days after completion of Phase I in electronic format. Phase III will be for construction period services during actual construction. Evaluation factors to be considered will be (1) Specialized experience of the firm with similar contracts; (2) Past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) Geographical location and facilities of the working office; (4) Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to this project. Estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. Firms interested and desiring consideration shall submit Standard Forms 254 & 255 by close of business May 17, 2002 to the Contracting Officer shown above. NAICS is 541330. Award is pending availability of funds. This is not an RFP.
