- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis from NMC-Wollard, 1125 Starr Ave., Eau Claire WI 54703. Northwestern Motors is the Original Equipment Manufacturer for the Military Version Model 60 Tractor and these repair parts must meet form, fit and function into the existing piece of machinery for proper maintenance and operation of this Tow Tractor. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-02-Q-0158 is hereby issued as a Rrequest for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those i n effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06 as well as DCN 20020314. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 336312 and the size standard is 750 employees. Final inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Along with your offer, provide references from a minimum of three Government/State/Local Agencies in which you have manufactured same/similar items. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
