Description
The VA National Acquisition Center will issue RFP 797-NC-02-0014 for the Department of Veterans Affairs? (VA) and Department of Defense?s (DoD) requirements for family drug groups, Albuterol Inhalation Solution and Ipratropium Inhalation Solution. ALBUTEROL 0.083% INHALATION SOLUTION, 3ML PER VIAL has an estimated annual usage of 638,485 packages of 25 vials per package and 25,975 packages of 60 vials per package. IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE 0.02% INHALATION SOLUTION 2.5ML PER VIAL has an estimated annual usage of 802,894 packages of 25 vials per package OR 669,079 packages of 30 vials per package (where there is a choice of package size as indicated by the word ?or?, the offeror must submit a price on at least one of the two sizes indicated and award will me made on the package size most advantageous to the Government) and 32,680 packages of 60 vials per package. Glass vials are not acceptable. The estimated quantities listed above are for VA, DoD, Indian Health Services and the Bureau of Prisons. However, estimated quantities for additional Indian Health Service regions might be added to the solicitation later. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendors (PPV). If offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including option years. The solicitation will be available for downloading, on or about the issue date of May 14, 2002 from the VA Office of Acquisition and Material Management?s (O&AMM) internet web site at http://www.va.gov/o&amm/busopp/sols.htm.
