Description
NA This proposed acquisition will be procured under a multiple year, requirements contract. This acquisition covers potential requirements for five (5) years. Orders will be issued one or more times as requirements materialize. PRON: D12B0449 and D1285417, N omenclature: Motor and Brake, NSN: 1055-01-119-1292, PN: E6015M106 for a known quantity of 61 each and a maximum quantity of 95. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; howeve r, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. The Destination is to be furnished. The Delivery schedule is 100 days after contract award. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for so licitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality require ments, is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest those small business firms or others interested in subcontr acting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm(s) listed. RFP will be issued to Smith Industries Aerospace and Defense Systems Inc., 110 Algonquin Parkway, Whippany, NJ 07981. All responsible sources may submit a bid/ proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency, request solicitation package from address above, Attn: AMSAM-AC-LS-T, FAX Number 256-955-9220. Drawings, specifications, or other technical data are not available and will not be furnished. The most recent representative unit price and quantity relative to this acquisition is NSN: 1055-01-119-1292, Award date 20 Sep 01, Qty: 18 each, Unit price: $5,203.64. The Government provides this price history without assuming the responsibility for any resulting conclusions or interpretations that may be made.
