Description

NA An A-76 cost comparison study is being conducted for specified services currently performed by Government personnel for Military Human Resources Services (Adjutant General (AG)), Fort Lewis, WA. The study is in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, Performanc e of Commercial Activities, to determine the most cost-effective mode of operation, i.e., continued performance by Government employees or by a contract performed by a commercial entity. A contract will not be awarded if Government performance is determine d to be more advantageous. Contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide the following services: Military Human Resources (MHR), Movement Services, MHR Information Management Services, and MHR Development and Sustainment Services. A copy of the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is available at the Directorate of Contracting Web Site for download and review at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc, select solicitation from the menu. Issuance of the solicitation is anticipated on/or about 2 May 2002. Any resultant contract will have a performance period, which includes a phase-in period, a base year and four option periods. A site visit is anticipated to be held on/or about 30 May 2002 at Fort Lewis, WA, Waller Ha ll, Transition Classroom, Bldg 2140, Liggett Avenue, 0800 hours. Please indicate interest in the upcoming solicitation by e-mailing your request to the Contracting Office, Attn.: Angela Morris at morrisa@lewis.army.mil. All requests received must include business size and e-mail address. The Government will NOT provide hard copies (paper sets) of the PWS. This action will be unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210, Facilities Support Services with a small bus iness size standard of $5 million.
