Description

NA WCC intends to competitively award a contract for the lease/rental of 35 commercial refrigeration semi-trailers with integrated refrigeration and generator sets to support the transportation of perishable goods to government commissaries in Germany and Ben elux countries. The lease shall include maintenance and repair services during the lease/rental period (base year plus up to 5 options years). Delivery must be within 6 weeks after award. A purchase option will be provided at the end of each year. Contrac tor must provide routine maintenance/repair at Rhine Ordnance Barracks (Kaiserslautern area) and specialized repair within 100 KM of Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Semi-trailers and maintenance/repair services must meet detailed technical specifications provided in the solicitation DAJA22-02-T-0198 to be issued on or about May 15, 2002. Respone date to be determined. The Government intends to issue the solicitation via the Internet at: http://acquisition.army.mil The solicitation and any changes to this solicitation will be posted only on the Internet. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the site daily for any posted changes. Standard Industry Classification Code is 7513.
