- NA The US Army Corps of Engineers, NY requests for quotes (RFQ) to award a commercial contract for the effort consisting of furnishing all labor and equipment, and performing all work required to grind and/or chip all visable wood located at the Van Wies Poin t placement area. Specifications may be examined at this office or at the Albany Field Office, 1 Bond Street, Troy New York. Detailed information for this effort is provided in its entirety on the USACE Website http://nan.usace.army.mil. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS Code is 113310 with a small business size standard of number of employee 500. The duration of the project is approximately 60 days. All responsible offerors may submit one quote to be considered. The s olicitation will be issued on or about May 17, 2002. Quotes are due by cose of business on or about 29 May 2002. The media selected for the issuance of the synopsis/solicitation and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordin gly, the media utilized for this project shall be the Internet. Paper copies of this solicitation, and amendments will be available, to obtain the solicitation and drawings, the contractors are responsible to contact contract specialist, Jacquelline Daly , at 212-264-9060 or fax the request letter at 212-264-3013. The successful bidder must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database prior to award. All bidders are advised to be in CCR prior to submitting their bids. Lack of regi stration in the CCR database will make an offerorineligible for award.
