- NA Maintenance Dredging, Chincoteague Bay Channel, Greenbackville, Accomack County, Virginia The project consists of maintenance dredging the Chincoteague Bay Channel by hydraulic pipeline method. The channel shall be dredged to a depth of 6 feet MLLW (NOS) w ith 1 foot of allowable overdepth. The contractor shall place the dredged material into the Government-furnished, confined upland dredged material management area as indicated and specified. The contractor shall be required to raise the dikes to an elevati on of 15 above MLLW (NOS) and repair, maintain and operate the spillbox and outfall pipe as indicated and specified. Including estimated accretion to June 2002 and allowable overdepth, the project involves dredging approximately 10,830 cubic yards of mate rial. Magnitude of construction is $100,000 to $500,000. Duration of the project is 30 calendar days for performance. This is a Small Business Set Aside Procurement. Applicable SIC code is 1629, with a size standard of $17 million. The NAICS code is 2 3499. The solicitation will be available on the internet only. No paper copies or CDs will be issued.
