Description

NA The project includes the repair and replacement of approximately 26 meters of an existing Gabion Basket revetment providing bank stabilization along the South Bank of the Cape May Canal in Cape May County, New Jersey. Also required is replacement of an ex isting crushed stone access road and slope grading adjacent to the location of the basket repairs. Solicitation documents will be available on the web page on or about 16 May 2002 and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests shall be accepted. Contractors shall download this solicitation (including drawings) and all amendments (including drawings) from the Internet at the following address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp on or after issue date of the soli citation; The official media of distribution for this solicitation is the ?WEB PAGE?. All required software to download the solicitation documents can be downloaded from the web page under ?Viewers?. Interested contracts must register on the Internet. I f any of the contractor?s information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving the solicitation and amendments. Bidders are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation including any drawings. Bids will be opened on or about 18 June 2002 at 11:00 a.m. This procurement is Unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 234990 with a size standard of $27.5 million. The estimated range of the project is $100,000 to $250,000 and bonding is required. Affirmative action to insure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. Liquidated damages will be specified. Award will be m ade as a whole to one bidder.
