Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with Simunition LTD, a Division of SNC Technologies, Inc., P.O. Box 576, Avon, CT 06001-0576. This requirement is for FX Marking Cartridges (Blue) 9mm, and FX Marking Cartridges (Red) 9mm. These cartridges are for use by the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) in order to conduct the full range of experimentation in support of Millenium Challenge ?02. The quantity required for the FX Marking Cartridges (Blue) 9mm is 52 cans (3,800 rounds per can), and for the FX Marking Cartridges (Red) 9mm is 14 cans (3,800 rounds per can). This action is in support of MCWL?s Project Metropolis. Simunition is the only known supplier of these marking cartridges. No solicitation document exists for this effort. Interested parties may submit a written statement of capability for satisfying this requirement to the name and address identified above within 15 days. See numbered note 22.
