- Solicitation is for the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) to establish Indefinite Quantity / Indefinite Delivery type contracts to provide full line, full service commercial food and non-food distribution Prime Vendor support to the U.S. Military and other authorized customers of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in three (3) Overseas (OCONUS) European Zones, Northern Europe, Southern Europe, and the Middle East. The resulting contracts from this solicitation will have one (1) base year period and four (4) one-year option periods, with an estimated total dollar value of $ 371,895,550.00. This is an unrestricted acquisition. It is DSCP's intent to make four (4) Prime Vendor awards under solicitation SP0300-02-R-4003. One (1) award for Northern Europe - Zone I, one (1) award for Southern Europe - Zone II, and two (2) separate awards for the Middle East - Zone III. The anticipated solicitation issue date is May 10, 2002, with a projected closing date of July 09, 2002. Two (2) separate Pre-Proposal conferences are expected to be held - one in Naples, Italy on May 31, 2002, and the other in Dubai, United Arab Emerites (UAE) on June 03, 2002.
