- Description
- Pomerelle Mechanical Fuels Reduction Project. The project is for hazardous fuels reduction on the Sawtooth National Forest at the Pomerelle Ski Area. The project includes reducing ladder fuel, tree densities and dead woody debris and the mastication (chipping, shredding or mulching) of this material. The mechanical treatment is to reduce hazardous fuel accumulations in the wildland-urban interface in accordance to the National Fire Plan. The project site is located 26 miles southeast of Burley, Idaho. Follow State Highway 77 to Forest Road 75 - Howell Canyon Road. Follow signs to Pomerelle Ski Resort. Est. start date is 07/15/2002 with a completion date of approximately 07/15/2003. NAICS: 115310, size standard $6.0 Million. This proposed procurement is set aside for small business concerns.
