- Description
- Blackberry Crossing, Campground & Covered Bridge. Work includes, but is not limited to, aphalt surface road construction, asphalt surface parking lot construction, granite curb & timber guardrail installation, trail construction, stone wall construction, bench installation, re-pointing and stabilization of historical chimneys, signs and planting of trees, bushes, wildflowers and grasses. Work at covered bridge area includes, but is not limited to, construction of gravel and asphalt walks, pads, and trails; bench installation; stonewall & timber step construction; granite sign mount installation, and seeding. Anticipated start date: August 1, 2002. Performance period: 90 days. Project Estimated Range: $100,000 - $250,000. Bid issuance: on/around May 13, 2002. You can download the drawings and specifications, or you can have a set mailed by sending a $25.00 non-refundable check to: USDA-Forest Service, Allegheny National Forest, Supervisor's Office, Attn: Ms. Font, 222 Liberty Street, Warren , PA 16365. The $25.00 check should be written out to: USDA-Forest Service. Also, the check should indicate the solicitation number, NEAT-02-183.
